cutting a fireplace

Installing hardwood moldings around fireplace has never been an attractive solution for covering up those gaps. Unfortunately inexperienced installers will handle it this way ,

either because they do not know of other solutions or don’t care to handle it any other way. but atthe end will look unprofessionally and ugly,

dont let this happen to your investment, hire a knowlegable individual, that knows the difference; obviously cutting the fireplace is  gonna be more work to the installer, but at the end it wold stay as a recommendation of someone that knows how to finish a fireplace

we undercut the fireplace and intersect the wood into the Brick or stone giving a professional looking and a nice finish to the fireplace itself
